If you reside in a different country, please be aware that your local laws may differ, and it is your responsibility to ensure that any parts you purchase from us can be legally imported into your country.
In Norway, in order to possess a firearm that requires registration, certain firearm components, and high-capacity magazines, you must have permission from the Police. The law specify which firearms require registration and permission (see links below). Firearms like airsoft guns and air guns (with some exceptions) do not require permission.
The law also specify several requirements for registered firearms, including minimum length and other physical limitations.
At TactX, we do not sell firearms, ammunition, firearm components, or magazines that require permission to purchase in Norway. But, we do sell firearm components and accessories that can change a firearm's physical characteristics. In some cases, a relatively simple modification to a firearm can result in an illegal firearm.
It is the gun owner's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the applicable laws and regulations at all times. This applies whether you reside in Norway or a different jurisdiction. This applies to experienced firearm owners as well, as the laws and regulations may have been updated since their last review.
To review the laws and regulations, one should consult the Firearms Act and the Firearms Regulations. We also recommend reading the Police's "Guidelines for Processing Cases under the Firearms Act" if you are considering purchasing a new firearm.
Export
If you plan to send firearm components or ballistic protection outside of Norway, or have ordered goods from us to be sent to an address outside of Norway, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the Export Control Regulations.
