Description
DAA Magnetic Powder Check 2.0 is designed to improve the safety and quality of reloaded cartridges when using progressive charging presses. With an innovative technology and a user-friendly design, DAA's powder check gives you precise control of the amount of powder, helping you to avoid both overcharges and missing charges.
What's new in version 2.0
- Improved precision: A permanently mounted Reed sensor on a custom PCB board provides reliable performance and an acceptable height variation of 2.0-2.5 mm, ideal for detecting both double and no charge.
- Durability: The former polymer part of the plunger rod has been replaced with a CNC-machined brass component that reduces static electricity and prevents powder displacement.
- Compact and robust design: With an anodized aluminium body, a stainless steel plunger and a brass foot piece, this tool is designed for reliable use over time.
Key features
- Easy installation: Mounts directly to standard 7/8-14 Dillon/Luman die threads.
- Audible and visual alarm: Alerts you with both a loud beep and bright red LED when the amount of powder deviates from the accepted level.
- Activated only with sleeve: The sensor is activated by the top edge of the sleeve and does not give a false alarm if the sleeve is missing.
- Flexible use: Comes with accessories for both pistol and rifle calibers. Compatible with pistol calibers from 9mm and up, and rifle ammunition from .223 and up (incl. 6.5x55; see user manual for customization).
- Space-saving solution: Placed in the free station after the powder dispenser. If you don't have free space, you can use DAA's 2-in-1 seat/crimp die to free up a station.
Advantages
- Acceptable powder height variation: 2.0-2.5 mm
- High-quality materials: Stainless steel, brass and anodized aluminum
